actors-on-call are an ensemble of professional actors available for your large group events, conferences, skills training programmes, assessment centres and on-going development programmes.  Our actors can be booked alone or with accompanying support and expertise of BridgeBuilders facilitator or trainer.

  Role Builders
Our experience tells us that role-playing is one of the things most feared by participants on learning programmes.  Our actors take the pressure off by doing the role-play.  All people have to act is themselves.  And how often, when people go on a training course to acquire new skills, do they fail to put these skills into practice back in the work place because of fear of trying out anything new and risky?
actors-on-call give people the chance to try out new skills, to rehearse in a safe, risk-free environment, and to practise and hone their skills until they feel right and familiar.
actors-on-call provide professional actors who can take on the roles of clients, employees, colleagues, line managers, customers, etc., to replicate real-life work challenges in a secure learning environment
Our actors can stop/start, wind back, fast-forward and replay the situation like an incredibly adaptable video or CD ROM.  Participants have a chance to just 'give it a go', to experiment and play with the situation in the laboratory of the training room without the risks of consequences that such experimentation in the real world of work could bring.  Once people face the worst that could happen in rehearsal, they have the knowledge and experience of just how to apply their new skills to their day-to-day realities
actors-on-call always work with a facilitator who can guide both the participants and the actors - either an experienced BridgeBuilders facilitator or your own trainer.  This allows the actors to stay in role and the scenario to stay 'live' and 'real'
  Demonstrators:
We can take a scenario of your choosing and produce a demonstration mini-'show' to be played out in front of your participants.  You can take questions, illustrate points or even ask the actors to change things and play the scene over.
  Mystery Shoppers:
Our actors can be 'mystery shoppers' to act in research & service development, or to stand in for people (often from real case studies) for assessment purposes - e.g. as students or parents in the development of recruitment services, or as patients for trainee doctors and therapists to assess their people skills
  Agents Provocateurs:
Our actors can strategically be placed in a large group event to provide a catalyst for activity - to 'get things going'.  They can also act as plants for speakers to elicit certain responses from audiences
  Entertainers:

Our actors can bring  entertainment for your  large-group events and to  reinforce  your  conference  themes
